St Kilda President Andrew Bassat has urged saints supporters to be patient and continue to help push the club back to the top.

Joining Jake, Joycey and Marshy on the Saints TV Podcast, he openly spoke about his induction as St Kilda President in 2018, as well as what he described as the toughest decision he’s had to make, when the club made the decision to part ways with coach Brett Ratten.

The climb back to the top is not an easy one, he explained, though believes the club has put a lot of work in place on and off the field to give to give itself, and the supporters, the best chance at experiencing the ultimate success.

He continued by expressing that he is only at the football club for one reason – to bring success. And will deem his tenure as president a failure if that does not eventuate.

As not only St Kilda President, but also a passionate St Kilda supporter, Bassat understands the impatience but promises that he and everyone within the club are doing everything they can to change that narrative.
